Employee Time Clock App/Software?
My wife has gotten hung up on the idea of employees "clocking" in and out on a desktop when they come to work. Anyone have any cheap (free is even better) solutions for this?
We're running a max of five employees at this time. There's no need to keep up with jobs, handle expense accounts, or anything of that nature. Just needs to let each employee clock in/out, let me alter those hours (in case they forget to clock in), and shoot out a total at the end of the week. I found an app that we could run on our ipad that would do it, so I might just do that. https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/time...385234321?mt=8 |

That's what we use. I do payroll for about 50-100 employees (100 in summer, 50 at slow times). Kronos has a few issues sometimes (it's not the best at math sometimes and also confuses In and Out punches) but by and large it's effective, with many different reports you can run. But it's definitely overkill for a business with five employees.

...or a pen and paper

As others have said, Kronos is good, not sure how expensive it is though but they seem to have several options.
