I think the issue with the Chip Kelly comment stems from two things.

1. The broad interpretation of what he meant by not "needing" a franchise QB, which went 1 of 8 different directions nationally.

2. The minority margin that took the statement he made, as an endorsement that Geno wasn't a franchise QB NOW, but he could with with him TODAY in his system.

I don't remember either, but I think it had to do with sound logic in picking a QB like Geno Smith over a non QB like Luke Joeckel or Shariff Floyd at 1.1

FTR Dane and I have had normal disagreements many times and there was a level of respect where neither of us crossed the line and insulted each other and shared a few personal stories over our time here. Like he said himself, we respected each other and considered each other friends.

Something snapped a couple weeks ago with the guy and I'm just in Rome doing as the Romans do at this point.

That's an outright lie. When I sent out the group invitations I e plainer exactly what the group was formed for and you joined.

I was hypothetically speaking about Te'o @ #1 vs. Geno
