Ive heard for awhile now that On Her Magestys Secret Service was one of the best Bond movies ever and ive never seen it completely. My guess is, if it would have starred Connery it would be more revered.

I have watched OHMSS just once, many years back. I don't remember too much, except that I was not terribly impressed, and that Lazenby just did not fit the Bond mold. One of these days I should give it another chance I suppose.

If by "be more revered", you mean "have been the best Bond ever", then yes. It was everything a Bond movie should be, with some of the strongest characters, finest action sequences, deft plotting, and total surprises that you'll see. Unfortunately, it starred George Lazenby, who was a complete disaster as Bond. I could have better in that role, and I was two at the time.

It was a good Bond movie. George Lazenby actually wasn't too bad in it, but he had the misfortune of being the replacement to a legend. |
