Colts | Dungy plans to address punt, kick coverage units
Tue, 2 Jan 2007 08:41:36 -0800 Phil Richards, of the Indianapolis Star, reports Indianapolis Colts head coach Tony Dungy will look to address the team's punt and kick coverage units by adding more speed. "You can look for a lot of people, DL Robert Mathis, CB Marlin Jackson, FS Bob Sanders, if he's healthy," Dungy said. "Whoever we have to put in there, we will do that. We're kicking the ball pretty well. We've got to get it covered a little bit better." The Colts rank 30th in kick coverage, allowing an average of 26 yards a return. They are 31st in punt coverage at 13.1 yards. |
