I would guess that they own the building, so they can do what they want.

No...it's a worthless network. In fact I got rid of cable a year ago and it's awesome. It's waste of time and money. Especially when you can get most of the same type of programiing over the air HD anyway

They can't. As long as the dish is not in a common area, he has the right to put up a dish. (Without paying the ridiculous $300)

Really? I thought this was why Directv required a landlords signature before installation at a rental property. I rent, but it is a house and my LL didn't have a problem with me getting a dish.

They require that so they don't put it in a place the tennant 'says is ok' and then are liable for any damage/avoid visits to relocate. Additional work generally is unpaid when an install is done 'incorrectly.'

I did the same about 8 months ago. Heck, I never watched half the channels I was getting anyways.

I get it on comcast. Its part of a premium sports package that was only $3 more a month and I get about 20 channels that let me see obscure college games and NFL network.
