The casual fan put a lot of the team's woes in recent years on the QB position (and it was pretty bad), but the biggest reason this team went 2-14 was because it had zippo for quality depth.
Preseason records don't really mean much, but I believe it does speak somewhat to the depth that a team has. I think KC's abysmal record in the preseason the last few years has been a testament to their depth more than anything.

I love the moves. I actually think its a sign that we will be active throughout the year not just now. I could see us grabbing someones PS player at some point. I love the aggressiveness. We all like Powe because he was effin huge, not because of what he did on the field. Frankly we are not going to miss him. Same with Wylie.
Sends one hell of a message to the backups. They better be ready to produce when given the chance. |

Sorry to see Powe cut. Howard is an upgrade though, both athletically and intellectually.

Ron Parker will get some snaps on game days as well JMJ and Jaye Howard. The best player out of the group IMO is Dezman Moses. He started several games. (6 I believe) for the Pack last year and was a surprise cut.

Figured Dorsey would perhaps snatch 2 off wire so this surprised me. I'm glad Wylie is gone. I must say Hammond impressed me in that last game. I think letting Powe go was related to learning problems and perhaps weight too so this could be an upgrade. Special teams play had to be a consideration. But Dorsey made it a point to discuss that he has been working on figuring out each team's final 53 so my sense is this is a well thought out grab bag. That is a huge change from the past. I'm also glad that Brown is gone. To many times I've seen the back of his jersey. The only thing is none of these guys were in camp so you don't know how it will affect the locker room with so many new faces.

You have yet to give me any reason why Parker, a guy cut 5 times in 2 years and has suffered an ACL injury, is a better depth CB option thatn Brown

DT Jay silent e Howard better bring his A game. Like others am upset we gave up on Powe.
Good luck to you Powe hope you catch on to a team and wreak havock. This regime says keep the ego at the door. Well I hope if Powe does well elswhere that it would be an ego check for Dorsey. If this works out awesome then I wont need to bitch about it any more and will give praise for the move.

At least Jaye Howard is young so he can bring upside and improve with some game time under his belt. If we upgrade with a young prospect over another young prospect & he has greater upside then this could be a real good move. Still hate to see us give up on Powe, he was fun to root for.
