BILL COWHER TO HC THE CHIEFS????
On the way home tonight I was listening to the new 101.1 FM ESPN sports talk radio here in St. Louis. A local writer for a "Chiefs" website (I believe he said mychiefshome.com but I can't be sure) claimed that Hunt was in NC interviewing Cowher and that the Chiefs were planning to make the announcement next week.

Of course ESPN questioned him about it and he said that the main writer for their website was going on record saying Cowher would be the next HC.

Take it for what its worth. Someone on here may be able to pull up the audio on the ESPN segment. It was around 515 pm and the segment was called "Just Saying."

Jan 26th:
Reported tonight at 6:00 by Kansas City WDAF-TV's sports editor Frank Boal, Clark Hunt and Scott Pioli are putting the full-court press on Bill Cowher, even though it has been reported that Cowher has told friends and family that he will not be coaching anywhere in 2009.
