Gas Dryer Issue
My M.O. with these home things:

1. Go to ChiefsPlanet for the diagnosis.
2. Find the repair on YouTube.
3. Repeat with every other part of my house.

Ok. Kenmore Gas Dryer. Woke up this morning with the dryer running. Assumed that the wife had gotten up really early to run a load. Found out she hadn't. Came home from work to check on it, and it had finally turned off and the clothes inside were dry.

However, I noticed a clicking sound that would only stop when I opened the door. When I closed the door, the clicking resumed. Open, and it starts clicking.

So I unplugged the dryer and went back to work. Tonight, I plugged it back in and there was no clicking. I ran another load, and now there's still no clicking but now the dryer is NOT heating up at all.

Any thoughts? I have a Home Warranty so I can pay $100 and they'll take care of it, but maybe there's a cheaper option?

solenoids bout 30 minute job 20 bucks for parts my kenmore had 2.

Spend the $100.00 buck and you know it will be fixed right. I have a service plan on my house and I pay them $60.00 to come out and fix plumbing, all appliances. I'm pretty handy around the house but this gets it done right the first time.

I did what I should have done first: check the fuse. I pulled it, and it was dead. Replaced it and we're back in business. Thanks for your participation. Nice way to spend a day! LOL
