Meaning that just because he was considered for the Heisman, doesn't really mean anything in terms of NFL success.

You don't take an ILB in the 3-4 #1 overall. This draft has much better players available.

Trade down. I would like to trade down and take Aaron Murray.
3 year starter that has played well against elite competition in a pro style offense that throws the ball down the field. Best mobility of top QBs. Great arm. Most pro ready QB in the draft. Not as tall as you like, but is a playmaker. |

I agree. The Planet is overreacting to this franchise futility in the draft over the last 20+ years. We have the #1 pick and it sucks for us that there isn't a QB available worth the pick. That doesn't mean that we should reach with the pick. And waste any possible picks that we could attain with a trade.

Cause if we are holding all Qb's up to that standard, we have to hold other positional players up to greatest of all time draft picks. Is Jarvis Jones, Lawrence Taylor type player? Is Star a Warren Sapp type player? |

If we could trade down, similar to the trade up for Julio Jones, that would be ideal to me.

You think someone is gonna trade up Julio Jones style, for someone who doesn't project to be an elite dline pass rusher, or a guy with a serious medical issue?

Are you predicting that there won't be any trade in the top ten? |

Number 1 overall? Nope. The Chiefs would likely ask for an RGIII type haul, or they can just sit where they are and take the player they want. |
