In fact, if I were any good at these gifs, I'd superimpose on most of the gifs flaming stacks of shit on each of our 5 lineman while the gif is running. |

I agree, he probably could of escaped to the left. But then again, we don't have a 250 pound man barreling at us lol.

That block is ****ing awesome. If he'd have been aware he could've trucked the backer too, or at least pushed him. He did actually delay the guy some just by nature of his block.
Check Avery's big catch and run, Jamaal trucks a guy on a block in the background on that too. http://www.kcchiefs.com/media-center...1-534f34dfa206 Charles is a complete back. He can catch, he can run, he might not be Purple Jesus but he sure as hell can make corners and safeties think twice about lowering the boom on him, and he's great at blocking. Holy shit, his technique on running through the corner is awesome too. He lowered and led with his shoulder not his helmet. I think people were whining too much about that new rule about RBs lowering their helmets, this is the perfect way to accomplish actually a better result without the danger of the helmet hits. Actually the dback deserves some credit, he actually went for a decent tackle, went for the middle and led with his shoulder. Jamaal just owned him. Goddamn, if only we had a goal line/short yard back like Priest or Marcus Allen to compliment him. It was sad they couldn't punch him in the end zone. If I'm Reid, I replay that over and over to the offensive line and be like "what the **** guys, you've got Jamaal ****ing Charles and you can't get him a goddamned touchdown there?" Quote:
That was actually a good blitz by the Eagles they overloaded the left side. Too bad Jamaal knows how to do blitz pickup. |

No it is about time a rule was fair to both sides of the ball. A defender cannot lead with his head or helmet. An offensive player should be treated the same. I am sure it is more about protecting the head and neck of all players.
