Seattle could release Chad Brown?
Seattle is looking to sign Jamie Sharper. If this were to happen, they would more than likely have to release Chad Brown, whos been the heart of that Seattle defense. What would your opinion on maybe the Chiefs having some interest in him? I would have to say I would look at him, hes better than anyone we have now, besides newly acquired Bell.

How do you suppose we land Derrick Johnson? In all likelihood he will be gone by the 15th pick. Would you trade up for him? What do you think it would take to get in the top 10 to take him? Our 2nd round pick will go to Miami for Surtain, so using that in a trade is out of the question. The only realistic scenario I can see is that we trade our 1st this year and our 1st next year for a top 10 pick to get DJ, and I don't know how I feel about that.

If he drops I think we could trade up in front of Detroit without giving up our 1st from next year.

They already cut Simmons and let their MLB leave via FA. I don't see them cutting Brown even if they sign Sharper. But Chad was a monster in the playoff game against the Rams, even though they lost. I remember thinking that I wouldn't mind having him in KC.
