Yeah I love this game. Last night, I was waiting for the stock market to hit so I was just driving around aimlessly. It really give more appreciation to the details of the city when you do that. I have to wonder how many city engineers they hired to get this city so right. Even the drainage systems in the mountains is pretty impressive.

I can't believe how awesome this game is and I'm only 31% in. And they will be adding multiplayer soon! This may be my favorite game ever when all said and done.

I don't even know if GTAV will be coming to the new consoles and I doubt it will be available at launch... They still haven't released the PC version yet.

GTA V is not a next gen console launch game. If you want to play it while people are still playing, especially the online aspect, you should probably get it now.

Who knows how long it will be before it is released on next gen, if at all. I haven't yet seen confirmation that it is coming to next gen. I was always under the impression that GTA V was the swansong for the 360/PS3 as far as R* was concerned.

Yeah there is no confirmation on a PC/Next Gen release for GTA V. Only an xml file that mentions them. One would assume they will be ported there, but I would have assumed Red Dead Redemption would have been ported to PC as well. As it turns out, the code for RDR is so spaghetti'd it was not worth R*'s time to port it. So in all honesty, I would advise on not waiting.

Cool feature on the socialclub is you can see a checklist for all the things left to do in the game. I have completed 45/69 missions, but there is tons left for me to do.

I was getting away with this trick WITH consoles. I exchanged two red-ring'd 360s that way. The hapless employees in Excelsior Springs and Liberty, MO didn't bother to make sure that the serial numbers matched.

if I were not on a mission and just screwing around...
if I were to make it to the top of the peak where the parachute is and 'quick save'; say I die on the way down or something, or simply want to do it again - all I would need to do is reload the quick save?

I had to backtrack like 5% becausei didn't pay attrntion to my money in the stock market. I got it all now but am going to have to replay a bunch of missions. Not happy about that.

Dayze, if you quick save, it saves your point in time right there, as well as whatever vehicle youre in if you are in one. When I was skydiving into the military base to steal the jet, I had a quicksave in a chopper high above the base that I could keep loading when my attempts would fail. Saves a ton of time.

The video on duplicating vehicles is just a fail. Vehicles stored at helipads, or in hangars, are not lost if they are destroyed in the first place, so theres really no need to spawn another while youre in one already. I repeatedly went on tank rampages that didn't end until the tank was blown up, and its always waiting for me back at the hangar when I return.

Same thing for the helipad. If you take a chopper up and skydive out, when you return to the helipad that helicopter will still be selectable there.

All that stupid switching between characters is completely pointless.
