Ramirez is NOT the best center in the league.

Hell, he's not even the best converted guard center. The Packers have been all of a sudden able to run the ball with ease, and Aaron Rodgers has taken the fewest amount of sacks through the first 8 games of the season out of ANY season in his career. All of that is due largely to Evan Dietrich-Smith being moved over to center for the first time in his career, and he's kicking so much ass. I usually don't pay attention to center play, but I've paid attention to him because he actually POPS OUT at the screen. The stuff he has been doing is unreal.

Prisco's a flaming reerun.

According to PFF, Manny is the second best center in the league.

We'll see how he does with the best NT in the game. Good matchup.

This schedule bullshit goes both ways with the Chiefs/Donks.

Who has Ramirez faced DT/NT-wise?

I know Phil Taylor at times made Rodney Hudson look just plain silly out there. Yet when he went up against Evan Dietrich-Smith, Phil Taylor couldn't find his dick at all.

Did you watch the SNF Vikings/Packers game? That's exactly what I'm talking about.

Explain how the Packers can be one of the most feckless teams in the league in running the ball for so many years, yet all of a sudden they're bursting holes wide wide the **** open.

Eddie Lacy is a part of that, but these are huge holes. James Starks, brokedick Ryan Grant, and even John ****ing Kuhn could get 100 yards with this kind of production.

That's primarily due to Evan Dietrich-Smith.

Because Manning has never had any effect on line numbers...

McCoy's a true "air" back. Jamaal Charles has 16 more receptions. 1017 total yards for McCoy, 1018 total yards for Charles, and Jamaal has 8 TDs (2 receiving) versus LeSean's 3 (all rushing).

LeSean McCoy over Jamaal Charles is a bit of a head scratcher to me.

Yeah, LeSean is leading the league in rushing yards, but Jamaal has more receiving yards than any other RB. They're currently tied at tops in the league at 1,018 yards from scrimmage (McCoy has 98 more yards rushing than Jamaal while Jamaal has 98 more receiving yards- weird) but Jamaal has 8 TDs as opposed to McCoy's 3.

LeSean's sexy rushing yardage total is also somewhat misleading. He's had 4 games this season with 55 or less yards. His total is benefitting largely from big days against us and Washington. Meanwhile, Jamaal has had 100+ yards from scrimmage and a TD in 7 of 8 games this season.

He's also a candidate for MVP, although he'll likely only have a shot at OPOY. Maybe I'm being a homer but I'd give the nod to Jamaal.

Its the same reason that Brian Westbrook was never regarded as the best running back even though he was damn good at catching the ball out of the backfield. On NFL Network LT didn't even have JC in his top 5 RB's, a guy out of Arizona over JC in fact.
