We either need to treat Waters like the passer he is, or get Sams more involved. Waters has great downfield potential, but isn't going to be successful running the option like we are used to.

I think Snyder's scheme works by putting everyone to the test schematically. His players know their assignments better than the other team. When you've got to account for the QB running every play, discipline becomes paramount. When you're running a traditional offense, you need your guys to beat the guy across from you. KSU doesn't get the athletes to thrive in that style.

Klein was great at running an offense that will just keep pecking at you until you finally make a big mistake.
