sort of a big deal
If the Faiders do cut Palmer then teams will have to assume the the Faiders will go Quarterback in the draft at 1.3. That cuts down the teams they have to work with on a trade up to the Jags and Chiefs. more value for us

Palmer being released gives teams another option to trading up to draft a QB. |

You really think all the other teams in the NFL can count on the Faiders doing that?

Pryor's been there 3 years, started a game last year, and didn't cassel himself in it. He's basically an advanced rookie. He's a mobile qb at the height of the mobile qb era of the nfl. I just don't see how him starting at QB would be any different from a rookie starting there. |

I still think saying the raiders need to draft a qb in the first round is like everybody saying the chiefs need a LT first overall. Just as our Oline was the least of our worries, the Raiders seemed to have far bigger problems than bad QB play. |
