KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The Kansas City Chiefs announced on Tuesday that the team has released standing room only tickets for Sunday’s game against the Oakland Raiders. Standing room only tickets are made available when general admission tickets are no longer available in groups of four or more.


Tickets may be purchased online at Ticketmaster.com, by phone at (800) 745-3000, in person at participating Ticketmaster outlets, or at the Arrowhead Stadium Ticket Office located between Founder’s Plaza and the Hy-Vee Gate on the northwest side of the stadium.

Standing room only tickets provide entry into the stadium but not an actual seat and are priced at $30. Ticket Holders are free to stand in any public areas but not on ADA platforms, in seating areas, aisles or vomitories. Standing room is permitted behind ADA platforms, in the Ford Fan Zone or on field level or upper level concourses. Buyers may use cash or credit card (VISA, MasterCard, American Express and Discover). No checks will be accepted.

Nevermind that you can still buy a pair in the lower level, on the 40.

Or 3 seats in the lower level corner.

What a PR stunt this is. "OMG, our fans can't buy 5 seats together, better open up SRO's."

I also found it funny that they scrapped the TM beta program that allowed you to actually pick your specific seats. I'm betting they did it so people wouldn't see how many seats were actually available.
