My New Car

Well, the kid down the street lost his paper route and I just had to help him out. I have always wanted one of these. I think it needs Nitrous, but other than that it is perfect.

Yep. it's an '09 GT500. I pulled the trigger and bought one a year and a half ago when prices REALLY dropped. I was pricing the same car in the summer of '08 and it was $12K more than it went for just 4 months later in November. So, I was able to heavily mod the car for less than what it would have cost me had I bought it in July. It's my weekend car (when it's sunny) and it's a BLAST (literally) to drive...Wouldn't want to try and drive it in the rain though...

Of course none of these tubs will run with my ol' 65. It's 2900 lbs, w/500 horses and 500 ft/lbs of torque. With chassis upgrades, brake upgrades, and a stiff suspension. Its no world beater or anything. But it rings the bell on the fun meter.
Bet my '09 "Tub" will...
