I remember Sugar Ray coming back against Macho Camacho and embarrassing himself. I remember the Wizards playing a featured game on ESPN on Friday night the second year Jordan was back. It was a close game that they pulled out at the last second, but Jordan missed a FT that would have iced the game and I was just ****ing stunned. It was shortly after he dropped 40 against the Hornets, thinking that maybe he was somewhat impervious to time. To see him miss that in the clutch sealed his mortality for me. It was such a small event, but it really stuck with me.

Yeah, but i guess maybe this is an eye opener for the whole organization! Its to bad Jeanie doesnt run the team! She's a smart lady plus she has Phil to talk to about things. She just does the business/marketing side of things.

The Laker boards are killing D'Antoni. I think he has reached full Pioli status lol

If D'Antoni rode Kobe like Herm did LJ I'd understand the ire a little more, but his ineptitude didn't cause the injury.

I guess I would have to agree with that one. However, I see them call shit all the time when a guy slips. The main difference on free throw attempts is how much you go to the basket. GS typically doesn't do that, but again I only saw the 4th.

This isn't an Amare like situation like like two years ago either where it was obvious the minutes where going to likely cause permanent damage.

He's like 5th in minutes played this year. in his 17th year, lets not mention he's played 2 more NBA seasons when you include play offs. over something like 40,000 minutes. |

the reason why guys slip is when its wet on the floor and the corner of their shoes hit there is no grip so they just slide. Kinda like a nascar tire. Once the track is wet they have to get off cause there is no tread! Same with shoes on the side.
