Moral victories are all we have left.

But, is it just this year or is it from now on? It seems as if we will always be mired in mediocrity without any real chance at a SB. On the other hand if Clark Hunt comes and starts "fresh" at the top I would be more optimistic about future success. The status quo just aint cuttin' it. We made some strides on defense this year but with all the O-line problems and other problems our offense took at least 2 steps backwards. We have limited cap room next year so the free agent shopping will be slim to none most likey, as usual. Where does it end? Where is the light at the end of the tunnel? Honestly, I think that all we will ever get to hang our hats on are "moral victories". There is always next year, right. (sounds familiar)

I know what you're saying, Mr. BigVE, but the Chiefs can take their moral victories and stuff them in their moral cavities as far as I'm concerned. The Titans are playing better ball than we are.

I dont know much about Clark but I hope he is a real hard ass. Lamar may have very well been too nice of a guy to push this team to the top in todays world.

Well, we've made it far more likely that Denver will get to embarrass themselves in the playoffs again this year! There's a moral, uh, victory.

I'm all for Denver embarrassing themselves but I would rather it be in the criminal court system than the playoffs.

Since you didnt quote any one persons post Im assuming your talking to the thread starter, me.

So your saying your satisfied with just MAKING the playoffs? This is all you wanted? I will reserve judgement at least at this point since we did exceed my expectations but I would retract this statement if we get a WIN this week. Anything less is still just "moral victories".
