Duno where to put this....
@NFLDraftBites: @Jacobs71 Chiefs cap issues w/ key FAs & guys clamoring for extensions. Fisher must rebound. Might say Good Bye to Hali, Johnson or Flowers

Fisher has to step up. We can't afford Albert or draft picks for O-line tackles. Stephenson and Fisher have to be our O-line tackles.

If he asks them, I think they would. And as for having two years left. Yeah, Desean Jackson just asked to have his contract redone. He just signed it two years ago.

Gotta hope that some of our guys will restructure to help the situation.

He doesn't seem like the kind of guy that would force the Chiefs to give him a pay-raise, but boy oh boy does he deserve one.

Id request a new contract if I were Charles in part to see what the Chiefs would do. I would not want to "break the bank" but Id definitely want top 5RB $$$. Knowing me though, I would report to camp.

Oh for sure. There's nothing wrong with wanting some extra bank when you're arguably the best RB in the NFL. I think it just works well in our favour that he's probably not going to hold out or request to hit the market.

They aren't cutting Brandon Flowers guys. We wouldn't save very much money at all by doing that.

Not ready to see DJ go at all, but it'd still be a tough call for me between releasing either Flowers or Hali.
Flowers size and deep speed definitely leaves something to be desired. But Hali seems to be wearing out just as fast, and it honestly pains me to say, but the people throwing around the phrase "one trick pony" just might be right, cant remember the last time I watched him effectively use a rip or swim move to get back inside of guys who're constantly choking him out wide. Its a tough call. |

No he won't hold out. He isn't that kind of player.

He isn't selfish like that. he won't put himself ahead of the team like that.
