Keyboard Case for iPad 2?

Can any of you who are familiar with Apple products recommend a keyboard case for the ipad2? I see Belkin, Logitech, Kensington and many others out there.

-for an 8th grader that uses the ipad for school daily, and nightly, in place of all his school books. Completes all assignments on ipad.

-would be nice if the case protected front and back though not 100% vital

-stylus storage would seem a needed feature (from what little I know)

Anyone have any experience here? Thanks.

I thought the point of an ipad was that it's small and portable and it's a tablet. Why would you need a keyboard? Doesn't that defeat the point?

In this case the ipad is my son's text books, assigned reading, notebook, tests, reports, everything. They use zero paper, everything is done on the ipad.

Keyboard isn't required but makes it a lot easier for him to do his work. Must be true for a lot of people, there are a thousand different kinds on Amazon.

Damn, if you don't know I don't know who will. Thanks though.
Actually though this is more a student/someone who uses ipad for work kind of thing. His Technology teacher uses a Logitech so I'll probably just get the same one he uses. Fold into a protective case when not in use, I like that.

I've got the Logitech keyboard case by Zagg. It does not give 2 sided protection or have stylus storage. As far as being a keyboard goes, I like it. I usually only use it when I know I'll want the keyboard as it's design isn't the most convenient for things like reading on the train or taking notes with the stylus (iPad doesn't really connect to keyboard).

The mobile device guru at my company uses the Zaggfolio. If I was buying over again I'd probably get it. Still no stylus storage.

You can check them both out here.

Re: styli in general, I'm currently using the Kuel H10 which is the best I've found for handwriting with the iPad. It's got a lanyard on the cap with a little plug that fits into the headphone jack...a pretty clever design that I really like, but I'm pretty sure I'm going to end up breaking the plastic plug off in the jack at some point.

I know lots of people who use the keyboard cases, but I'm not one of them. I'm not sure what brand they use, though.

Thanks CR. Appreciate the kboard and stylus tips.

These keyboard solutions might be a little out of style, but maybe he'll like them:
