Ted Sundquist OUT as Broncos General Manager
Per Sirius NFL Radio Network.
I guess they expect more out of their front office in Denver, since they haven't won a Super Bowl in a decade. Carl truly is invincible here. Don't care if this is a repost. |

Shanahan must have incriminating photos of Bolen in his fur coat. A nuke could go off in Denver, and Shanahan would stroll out of the crater, with his teeth leading the way.

GM Sundquist fired as Broncos 'move forward' Associated Press Updated: March 12, 2008, 9:22 PM ET Comment DENVER -- Ted Sundquist is no longer the Denver Broncos' general manager. In a brief statement Wednesday, head coach Mike Shanahan said the organization needed to fresh ideas. "I am grateful to Ted for all his hard work and efforts on behalf of the Broncos for the past 16 years," Shanahan said. "Now is the time for our organization to move forward and look at new directions. We are prepared to do so, starting with our ongoing draft planning, and along with continuing preparations for our mini-camps and training camp." Details of Sundquist's departure were not immediately released. Other members of Broncos' management, including director of player personnel Jim Goodman and assistant general manager Jeff Goodman will have increased roles in football operations, while Joe Ellis, chief operating officer of the Broncos, will perform operational and administrative issues. Difference is that the Rat pulls all the strings in Denver.
He just threw Sundquist under the bus.

This is absolutely unfair. We do not cover the Denver Broncos unless it relates to the Kansas City Chiefs.

Shanahan, nibbling on a giant piece of cheese, said "I am grateful to Ted for all his hard work and efforts on behalf of the Broncos for the past 16 years, and for taking it up the ass so I don't have to."

Wow, the Head Coach announcing the GM was leaving. Shany really does steer the ship around there.

hmm. I didn't realize that. Well since that's the case it makes sense, but still creates a strange setup leading to interesting circumstances such as a head coach firing his gm. Wouldn't it be cheaper to just buy Shanahan a hand puppet?
