The perfect meal
I cooked this venison tenderloin in cast iron skillet saturday night. Marinaded in soy, olive oil, and italian dressing. OMG was it good. My son went midieval on his (and overdid it as you can see). Thats my favorite old pan ready to go, the pated venison with apples and pears, my son after the first bite, and my son after the last bite. heh.

thats my go to pan. I'd rather grill out, but tbh, other than a little bit of smokiness from the grill, the pan gets a complete sear and leaves the middle perfectly medium rare. Love me some cast iron.
