Dial the clock back to when T-Rich was here. McClain will make Battle look stellar, with more power running, protection and flat pass plays called. It ain't rocket science.

He runs downhill and the Line has a billion reps at run blocking, the real thing is how bad Thomas Jones is. Jackie can pick a hole and run hard Thomas Jones is just shit on a stick

Props to Jackie, he was lucky to even make the team after that atrocious pre-season, but he's went ahead & done all he can to earn it.

Yet... this was Indy, everyone can run it on them if they really want to, its not like he was blasting through baltimore.

Give it to him on 3rd and shorts/goal line stands. He's not a feature back like he was today but he has more power and will to get that first down than Jones.

Battle has always shown flashes when given a chance to play. Today was his chance to shine and he took it. He's a tough yard fighting RB. It's great to see a RB hit a hole w/ anger and some speed again. But lets hope he lasts the whole year and continues playing that well this year and next year when he's not the RB getting the ball 20 times.
