I think that if the Bears truly wanted him back, they'd sign him.

I think the problem is that they don't know his value on the open market.

If he's only offered one or two year deals at a minimal price, say $8 million per, they'd probably match it.

But if he's offered $12+ million per elsewhere, he probably walks.

To be honest, I don't know how to gauge his value, either. One good year out of 4, especially a contract year, puts added risk to any higher dollar deal.

Middlekauf said he'd heard at the combine Fuller would get more than Trumaine Johnson.

I bet he ends up at 12.

I’m not spending that kinda money on Kyle Fuller. It’s best to just get solid role players, get rid of guys Veach doesn’t like for draft picks and win the draft.

Fuller is younger so he should get more than Trumaine.

Paying Fuller crazy money doesn’t get me too excited personally.

I liked the idea of Fuller and Fuller but 12m for a guy who had traumatic knee injury and then had a weird "mental" problem because of said injury is not the guy to spend 12 million dollars on.

Yeah, I'd probably opt elsewhere.

But shit they're gonna have to find some players somewhere.

Damn that sucks. Fuller was a corner I liked. This is a good corner market though.

He was saying that KC’s fans were yelling racial slurs at him during the game in KC last year. No way he signs here regardless

Keep in mind, with as many as 5 QB's going before the Chiefs pick in the 2nd, there will be some Blue Chip talent in the 2nd and the 3rd rounds.
I hear ya, but man...I will be really disappointed if we have to use our 2nd on anything but defense.

I think our first 3 picks should all be defense, because it doesn’t look like we’re going to fill many of those holes in free agency.

The one thing KC has over all other places is Fuller's brother. So if they've wanted to play together that could go a long way.

Still have to pay him a ton, but if we like him enough we can afford it.

One guy that has the potential to come out of nowhere for us is Will Redmond.

I completely forgot we signed him until recently. Although it’s probably unlikely, he has a chance to turn it around considering he’s still young and the issue with him for the most part was an injury.

I actually like the idea of Ej Gaines as he's just as good as most on the market with injury issues you're still going to have a top half of the league secondary with Amerson, Fuller, Nelson, and Berry in your secondary
