Local CBS Head Sports anchor Dan Lucy was on the radio and said that he was still trying to get the game aired. Said this market has the numbers to support it and that the local affiliate would capture a lot more viewers than the regular programming.

I just talked to Dave at Coyote's and he said that he'd talked to a guy at KOLR10 earlier and tried to convince them to bring their van, complete with satelite, there to link their live feed into Coyote's so they could show it. Apparently they had already been warned by CBS that they would face severe penalties for doing that.

If he can get it aired, I think he'll be moved up to superhero status. I completely agree that we have a large enough fan base to support such a decision.

KOLR10 has taken a lot of heat from viewers and other local stations and they are just trying to cover their ass. Not gonna happen.
