The Chiefs Are A Great Team...

...when they play crappy opponents. The 5-4 record KC has is totally due to the fact that the four teams we've beaten (Jets, Raiders, Redskins, Dolphins, Raiders) have a combined record of 15-29. Heck, half of our losses have even come against sub-par teams (Eagles, Bills).

Maybe we should be happy that we're 5-4 because, when you think about it, we almost lost twice against the Raiders, and without a great Jared Allen performance we would have lost against the Redskins as well. KC could EASILY be 2-7 right now.

Looks like we got a defense one season too late...

The D will be much better next year after a year of playing together. Only problem ... we will be one deminsional again.

The only hope is that Trent will return when Roaf returns. Then again, Roaf not being there doesn't explain the half-dozen drops from our receiving corps each week...
