Geno Smith Escorted off airplane by police for verbal altercation
Apparently he was upset with their seating policy. Can't you see Brady, Manning or Rodgers doing this?
http://deadspin.com/geno-smith-alleg...ops-1503821554 Geno Smith Allegedly Escorted Off Plane By LAX Cops [UPDATE] Geno Smith Allegedly Escorted Off Plane By LAX Cops [UPDATE] SEXPAND Jets quarterback Geno Smith was apparently escorted off a Virgin America flight at LAX today by police after what a witness called a "verbal altercation." The photo you see above was sent to us by a reader who witnessed the incident and says the shot came "moments before" Smith was escorted out of the airport by cops. Our tipster wasn't the only person who saw it: @JimmyTraina I don't have video, but I'm at LAX and just saw a Geno Smith fiasco yelling at Virgin America workers. Escorted by cops LOL — Mark Rue (@markyOso) January 17, 2014 We're working on getting more details, but it looks like Geno's weekend isn't off to a great start. Update (7:11 p.m.): Our tipster fills in some details: We were waiting for our flight at LAX to Vegas and were put on standby on Virgin American just like Geno. We were told to get seat assignment at 2:40. Apparently Geno was not on board with that. My friend walked over to discuss seat assignment and Geno was saying to airline ticket agents, "**** that, this is bullshit." "Why the **** do I have to wait until 2:40." He would not let it go. He continued to curse and be loud for about 5 minutes. Police were called. They talked for a few minutes and then 3 officers escorted him out of the terminal. And ignored Geno's Buffalo game where he threw 106 yards and three picks. Hmmmm

Yeah, but the stats don't lie. Geno was far better this season.
On passes where Geno Smith threw a touchdown this season, he was 12-12 for 12 TDs, 0 INT. On passes where Alex Smith threw an incompletion, he was 0-200 with 0 TD, 7 INT. That's terrible. Case closed. |

You can argue who the best QB was in their first year in the NFL, but the bottom line is which QB would you want starting for the Chiefs in 2014?
There is absolutely no question that answer is Alex Smith. |

2)If you want to throw something at me, just go with Clausen or Stanzi. 3) I'm just having fun twisting stats, is all. I might even order an Alex Smith jersey. Seriously. |

Geno Smith was undefeated in games he won.
Alex Smith was 0-6 in games he lost, including the playoffs. Who wants a QB like that? Geno didn't lose a playoff game this year. |

Not over the course of the last 4 games, he wasn't.

Would you like me to make it best case scenario for Alex Smith? Alex gets the other Raider game and Geno gets the other Buffalo game....? It probably closes the gap a bit. Gimme a few. |

This whole argument is weird because the 2nd half of the season is when Alex really turned it on. He had great numbers in the 2nd half + playoffs after Reid turned him loose. 63% passing, 7+ yards/attempt, 18 TD/3 INT over 8 games. Those are fantastic numbers.

Geno loses 228 passing yards by using the other Buffalo game. He also loses 2tds and gains a pick. Geno loses 85 points in total QBR.
Alex Smith gains 159 yards and also gains 5tds. He also raises his total combined QBR totals by 68.4 points. Final totals against identical opponents: Passing yards Alex 881 Geno 825 QBR Alex 202 Geno 176 TD:INT Alex 7:1 Geno 4:6 |

I'd be a lying ass bitch if I said I wasn't excited to see what he's (and our offense as a whole) capable of next season. |

This whole numbers thing is me having a little fun trying to find a fair comparison and I think this is about as good as could be asked for in terms of fair comparison of the two players. |

He was a rookie on a team without even one pro bowler.
Alex is a 29 year old vet on a team with 10 probowlers |

Such a silly argument at this point. Geno might not even be a starter at the beginning of next season.

People act like the Chiefs passed over Andrew Luck.
Good grief.
