I'll trade them an injury prone TD for a healthy Donnell Bennett....

I also read on either TSN or ESPN that people are starting to whisper that he wont play with pain. Honestly, that's fan with me. I've seen enough of what he can do...

He had his two best years while battling migrane headaches..before, during and after the game....I think he is use to playing with pain...just goes to show that fans are fickle no matter where you go...except maybe the die hard Bungles fans...both of them...they know they are going to lose and still watch... Yeah, that's what I was about to say. He won them a freakin' Super Bowl with a migrane headache. This instant gratification is really sad. Aikman gets booed, Davis' heart gets questioned, Elvis will get cheered only until his next interception, etc...

I'll be honest with you, this has to be a nasty rumor more than anything else. Terrell, next to Elway, is the greatest thing that ever happened to the Broncos and we know it.

At least Rod Smith gets it (from NFLTALK):
From Denver wide receiver Rod Smith, on the fan-led criticisms of the toughness of Terrell Davis: 'The only people who question his toughness don't play. So who's tougher, them or him? We know what he can do. Dude helped me get two Super Bowl rings. I'm always going to be thankful for that. I know what type of player he is and what he can do when he's healthy. He's not hurt; he's injured. If he's hurt, he's going to play. He's done that for years. But the guy's injured. He needs time to heal.' |

Crappy fans don't know how to appreciate what thier teams and individuals on those teams have given up for them. Let them boo, those are a few less people I'll have to deal with when I am still cheering on MY team when they are 2-13, it's the last game of the season, and we are down 20-104.

You guys are out of your mind. It wasn't Mile High stadium that Bood their team off the field the first 2 games of the season. Or I mean, until their team started to win.
And If I remember correctly, Chief fans have been doing this for 2 years now. |

Wasn't it Milehigh where the fans pelted their own players with batteries?

Carter will always be a sorry Chief? No, he was a great Chief, and a sh*tty Bronco. He didn't suck until your "genius" coach backed a Brink's truck up to his front door.
KC squeezed every bit of production out of his spindly body, and just when his skills began to erode and his contract was up, he won the Colorado State Lottery. Maybe "The System" doesn't apply to DBs. |

Broconfan - That is funny, because we had so many Donx fan's telling us how great it was that they were able to steal Dale Carter away from us and how happy they were to have them on their team.

Also, I'm sure Carter wasn't the ONLY one that they threw stuff at. "Look! Here comes our losing team! Everyone get out your batteries, but ONLY aim at Carter!"
Whatever. Carter was just the one who got injured. |

Did someone call for a pasting of Bronco quotes from last year? Ok.
Here's Vance from 1999, in top form regaling the fact that Carter now solidifies their Defensive backfield: DENVER: Schedule is brutal but they are playing well when you look at offensive and defensive output. Dale Carter has helped them to one of the best pass defenses in NFL. The pains of a developing QB are evident though with the high turnover ration. The schedule doesn't get any easier! (but they will go 10-6). Im pretty sure Vance meant 6-10 and just got his w/l record backwards when he posted his prediction. |
