I think that the tables have turned. This time OU is the one who is all cocky and thinking this pesky little team, we beat them already this year. And KSU is the one with something to prove. Not to mention the revenge factor. I also think that OU peaked the Nebraska game. Look at how they have barely manage to win games since then. While on the other hand The Cats have turned things around. Of course this is coming from a very biased Wildcat. So what does every one else think?

I have not quite figured out why people use the "Purple Pussies" comment. I'm more stunned when it comes from KU supporters, although I can honestly understand their frustration in football, as I carry the same frustration when it comes to KSU basketball. I use to loathe KU in every way when I went to college at KSU. Then, I grew up and realized that I'm more of a Big XII fan and less of a Hawk Hater.

I fully support KU/MU/OU and the rest of the Big XII in their endeavors outside of when they play KSU. It's too bad others don't see it the same way. Oh well, different strokes for different folks.

the reason i hate k state is because there are so many fans of them where i live and they are so damn obnoxious and arrogant about their football team but when basketball comes around they say its no big deal when they lose but if they should win then oh my god k state is the best basketball team in the world cuz they beat ku. thats why i call them the purple pussies.

Here is a good story in the Star about the way KSU fans are looking at this game. As well as a perspective on the Big XII Championship game itself.
www.kcstar.com/item/pages/big12news.pat,sports/3774f391.b28,.html

I know that a lot of you are going to say that it is just sour grapes, well it isn't, for me at least. I live in OK and I have had to put up with these obnoxious Sooner fans this whole season, and the thought of popping thier ballon has me excited. And besides, I enjoy beating every team evry chance we get. I don't care much for losing, especialy to conference rivals.

!!!GO K-STATE!!!

Washington Huskies handed Miami their only loss, therefore we should have the shot at the title IMO.,..
Can anyone justify the Huskies being behind Miami? Rose bowl is fine with me but It would be tough to convince me that there is no east coast bias in college football.

BTW Washington is the only team to beat two top five teams and have their only loss against a top five team....#1 toughest schedule in the nation.

Ahh, Game Day! I can't wait for tonight!
Joe, yes there is east coast bias in almost everything, not just college football.

Congratulations to OU.

We got to see a team in red win a playoff game in Arrowhead. It worked for me.

OK, I have finally gotten a chance to get on the computer, and I would like to say to all the Sooner fans good game, and congratulations on winning the Big XII.
Man, I can't wait for this football season (college and pro) to be over with. Dissapointments galore. With the major exception of beating Nebraska :D, and now finding out that we did better than them in the bowl selections :D. Oh well, there is always next year. Funny I find myself saying that every year, and nothing ever comes of it.
