Savings Bonds question?
I just found a crapload of Savings Bonds in my name. They are "Series EE". Most of them were issued in 1994, and one in 1982. Should I cash them in? It says interest ceases after 30 years, but I could really use the money right now. Is there a penalty if I cash them in this early? CAN I cash them in this early? WTF is going on?!

Actually, the best plan is to give them to me. You don't want to have to pay the penalties, I'll do that for you.

Yes you can cash them in early, when you go to your bank or credit union they will print up how much is the value, you can decide to take it or wait. You can cash them a year after the issue date you got.
