They're not going to trade picks for a 24-year old QB and then take a QB in the 1st round.

Trading for Freeman means Freeman is the guy. We'll take the other option later, ala Seattle.

This would be about the only option i would think is acceptable.


The Chiefs decide that they like Tyler Wilson over all the other QB's so they use Freeman to trade down and get 2 QB's in the 1st round.

Ricky Stanzi

Beats the hell out of Cassel,Quinn,Stanzi


still the problem of a new contract for Josh Freeman though, you basically have to commit to Freeman with a new contract which screws up the Tyler wilson pick.

IF.....and that's a huge IF........we trade for Freeman and swap picks......we better be getting other picks as part of the deal. Freeman alone is not worth a swap of 1st round picks.

Yeah. Considering what the Skins gave up to move from 6 to 2 to draft a QB, there's no way Freeman is worth that level of compensation.

We'll need at least the Bucs' 2nd rounder and probably something else as well

There pretty much has to be something wrong with Freeman's attitude or some intangible. Maybe he can't learn a full playbook ... maybe he refuses to change some of his mechanics etc.

Young,talented QB's are too hard to find

Tampa Bay wouldn't be giving up on him unless there is something they see on a daily basis that other teams wouldn't know about yet.
