RAPOPORT: Steve Spagnuolo, Dennis Allen, John Pagano names to watch at DC
Just heard on NFL Total Access.... FWIW. https://twitter.com/rapsheet/status/...864004097?s=21
Allen, the Saints DC, is a free agent for those who may read that and wonder. Last edited by pugsnotdrugs19; 01-22-2019 at 05:45 PM.. |

Has to be some younger more innovative coach out there than these washed up Cum dumpsters.

Nobody is deluded enough to think switching will fix everything. We're saying that switching would HELP to make this a more productive unit that use more players further down the depth chart and still be successful. That's what it has the potential to do. We still need the players. That goes without saying. |

I'd also look at the Eagles D-Staff due to the Doug Pederson connection

Which is exactly why no hire should be allowed until after the SB by any team.

It's weird, because I can't really think of a DC that i'd be that excited over.
Richard is nice, but that's not gonna happen and we aren't going to have the Dallas talent. In the end, they have to put a shitload more talent on the D. |

Besides, did you not see that D in Arrowhead this year? They weren’t bad all things considered. |

I’d prefer to keep our good pass rush and draft to fix areas of concern and hire a defensive coordinator that’s used same defensive calls but add wrinkles

Dead last in rushing yards and TDs given up, by a wide margin. Let that sink in. They were significantly worse than the Chiefs at stopping the run.

Saints don’t want to keep Allen? Defense was not the reason they lost that game the other day.

Keep the good players (or the ones who are too expensive to cut like Berry and Hitchens). Let the shitty ones like Bailey and Nelson go. Cut guys like Sorensen who could save us some cap space. Then try our best to find replacements through draft and free agency.
Is that any different than your strategy if we keep the 3-4? |
