Nobody is deluded enough to think switching will fix everything. We're saying that switching would HELP to make this a more productive unit that use more players further down the depth chart and still be successful.

That's what it has the potential to do. We still need the players. That goes without saying.

It's weird, because I can't really think of a DC that i'd be that excited over.

Richard is nice, but that's not gonna happen and we aren't going to have the Dallas talent.

In the end, they have to put a shitload more talent on the D.

I’d prefer to keep our good pass rush and draft to fix areas of concern and hire a defensive coordinator that’s used same defensive calls but add wrinkles

Keep the good players (or the ones who are too expensive to cut like Berry and Hitchens). Let the shitty ones like Bailey and Nelson go. Cut guys like Sorensen who could save us some cap space. Then try our best to find replacements through draft and free agency.

Is that any different than your strategy if we keep the 3-4?
