NO, hes not. Its called reading comprehension. Hes a dope who cant understand that there are more parts to being a qb than just throwing the ball.

Look, you and I have gone round and round on this subject. There are two things that Alex Smith does well. he doesn't turn the ball over, and pre snap, there aren't many guys who are better than Alex Smith. Those are just facts. I am going to guess, that you don't watch as many 49er games as I do. Two things were very clear when Kaepernick took over for Alex Smith. Alex Smith was so much better pre snap than anyone knew, and that Kaepernick was a hell of a play extender, and master of the big play. I didn't talk about alex after the snap, ive said many times that if a play doesn't go to script, hes screwed. But as for audibling, changing protections, putting players where they need to be, hes in the tom brady, peyton manning discussion.......FACT

I don't disagree that he does those two things well (though I am concerned about how well he will do the FIRST when asked to be more aggressive throwing the ball, as Andy Reid has very publicly done).

While those are good skills to have, they are not the most important skills a QB in the NFL needs to have. That's why he's a solid/average/competent NFL QB and not an elite or near-elite NFL QB.

The things I listed are all things that are NICE for a QB to have in his pocket... but not the things that make or break a QB's ability to play QB at a high level in the league.

I think it would be smart for Andy to continue to play to Alex's strengths and work on his negatives. For one he's an excellent play action passer. He's excellent at selling the fake and excellent at completing passes out of it.

If we don't see a LOT of play action with a threat like Charles I'll be livid...
As would I. Its the chiefs best chance at having success.

Who Blew smoke? What smoke? That he is an excellent game manager that doesn't turn the ball over, and is very good pre snap. There is some SMOKE I am just blowing out my ass. Shut up clown.

Wicked ice burn.

You don't seem to understand that I don't think Alex Smith is terrible. Just that he is extremely mediocre once the ball is actually snapped, and that the Chiefs gave up entirely too much to acquire that bundle of mediocrity.

I just wrote an entire post about this. Stupid ass. Then you neg repped me because your are an insecure little bitch with a tiny penis.
This is why his performance doesn't match his preparation. Guys like the one you describe don't win playoff games.

Now go away, troll.
No one has said that he will be anything more than that. Not even the die hard alex smith fans. In fact, myself included have said that if Andy Reid tries to do with him what he allowed and expected Mike Vick to do, this is going to be a total failure. So, eat shit and die pussy boy.

Um, he wanted keep from the jump. He went after, or rather, LOOKED INTO peyton manning before last season. he wanted keep from the word go. Kaep was the future qb of the 49ers from the moment Jim, and Greg Roman went to Reno to work him out. I wish you people would stop with your bullshit lies.

Also we were told the same things about Pioli & Matt Cassel. We were told not to question the "exec of the decade" How'd that work out for us?
No one said don't question. Some have just said can you wait and see before you all cry like a bunch of bleeding ****ing vaginas.

This team needs to stretch the field. We do not have a qb for it.

I dont see teams playing us any different than last year.there is a reason cassel and smiths career stats mirror.
Pretty much stopped reading at that point. Did kinda pay attention to the last line. You don't know the first thing about football. You are clueless further to how THE NFL VIEWS Alex Smith, and how respected his by coaches and other players view Alex Smith. Your view is a stupid myopic point of view, that really sounds like you are reading from Clays book of infinite dumbassery.

You are so ****ing dumb. You think anyone cares what any "expert" says about Alex ****ing Smith? Why don't you check and see what they all said, and some still say about about Cassel. And if you think their arm strength is anything but similar it only further proves your dumbassery.

Also, if you think what Alex Smith has done in the past is anywhere near good enough, get bent. Who Alex Smith is, doesn't win Championships.
