I think my wife and I would've had kids about 8 years ago or so.
I'll be 36 and her 37, and now neither one of us wants the stress or financial strain.

sometimes I wish I could go back 10 years and have a kid or two. Now, I'm just focusing on getting out of debt; and be able to take vacations / see different parts of the country.

Just do it. It will be the single greatest decision you have ever made in your lives. If you can't have your own, adopt. Kids don't care how much money you have. They just want to be loved. It's THAT simple.

Be a Big Brother. Not much stress or financial strain, still can take as many vacations as you want, and you are able to help mold a young mind.
