I'm not going to make a list because that would take too long and a lot of it is splitting hairs. I'll just say that Brady and Manning are clearly a step above everyone else. Then their's a second teir of guys like Palmer, Bulger, Brees, Hasselbeck, maybe McNabb that put up big numbers for several years. Everything else is just a mess of above average to sucky to unkown.

Swap Romo with Delhomme, Delhomme with Leinart, Rivers with Bulger, Bulger with Garcia, Favre with Jackson, and Jackson with Vick and I think you've got it, Mr. Direckshun.

Rivers is a little low @17 , no?
61% completion, 3388 yards, 22 TD's, 9 INT's, 92 QB rating. In comparison, you've got Alex Smith in the top-10 who had the following stat line last season: 58% completion, 2890 yards, 16 TD's, 16 INT's, 74.8 rating. I understand the thread topic is a ranking based on how you think they'll fare this coming season, but what makes you think Smith will perform better in 2007 and Rivers will perform worse? 49'ers picked up virtually nothing on offense and lost Norv Turner, who is great with QB's. Vince Young is also too high IMO. Teams have game tape on him now and he was pretty awful as a passer last season. |

Jason Campbell's pretty good.
I don't think Croyle's done anything to prove he's been better than anybody. |
