That throw was unreal. Not often you can one up that first throw he made in the same game.

The rear angle view from the left-centerfield gap shows just how incredible that throw us. The freakin' thing had just started falling when it got to 3b. The play was incredible enough that the umpire didn't have the heart to make the right call...dude looked pretty safe to me.

I guess I am just very hopeful with my sports teams... even though in some instances I have no reason to hope.

Ankiel was too good of a player for the Cards to just let him go for nothing.
