the most frustrating part is that everyone saw that first pick coming. Cassel threw 3 outs in a row. left, right, left. that's some piss poor play calling.

The defense really started to wake up in the second half, but by then it was too late.
Romeo has been calling it like that all year, he starts off waaay too soft, playing read & react early on, only turning up the heat once we're down by 14... i'm ****ing SICK of it, come out aggressive & save that keep it in front of you crap for the fourth when we have a good lead. And for the love of God, sit dorsey & get big Rapa Nui in there to make some sh*t happen. |

The guy can't throw past that distance and the D knows it. Wouldn't matter a bit how many deep balls they called. For ****'s sake, look how open Bowe was several times and the throw never came close.

Actually it wasn't the playcalling. On that play you can see Moeaki blowing by the Safety. He was open at best and at worst in 1-1 coverage. That's where a good QB throws his receiver open or gives him a shot 1-1. The throw instead went to Bowe, who he locked in on and was double covered.

The offense has turned the ball over so many times in thier own territory, that the D is a moot point. It's ridiculous. After a slow start, they made a bunch of consecutive stops on Sunday and the O just kept crapping over the field.

I totally agree that the D gets hung out to dry way too often & that the offense gets the lions share of blame... but still, some early aggression would be welcome.

Looks like they are feeling out the offense and see what they are doing then adjusting. You can't do much about 6 turnovers allowing the opponent to start in scoring range.

Yeah but putting Berry in single coverage against Gates is stupid. I don't ever remember RAC playing Gates that way.

The throw to Baldwin downfield was pathetic. Wilcox tried to say Baldwin started looking for the ball too early but really the pass was no where near him.

He did on the MNF opener against the Chargers in 2010. After Gates torched Berry, he started bracketing him.
