Opinions needed from my fellow cper's

It may be a little early for you to be thinking about fireworks but Pyro Joe is in full swing and just about finished with his 2012 order.

Anyhow the following video is from a new 500 gram cake I'm looking at called Trendy Tattoos(1st firework in the sequence) and if you don't mind taking one minute could you please watch and give me your thoughts.

It looks pretty much like most other fireworks I've seen. Is it because it looks like it's from a show and not back yard stuff that makes it special?

Most fireworks are pretty much alike and yes although I sell the 'backyard variety" I pride myself in trying to pick the ones to sell that will make your neighbors go whoa where in the hell did you get that.

I like it! Will definitely have to try that one out! This year I have a float trip shortly after the 4th, so I might have to tone it down a little... That's kind of depressing now that I think of it.

i got drunk last year and didn't take notes on what I liked most of the stuff I got from Joe.

I remember there were some cakes that were completely badass but I'll be damned if I can remember which ones they were.

There was also a mortar that was very nice. great height, loud report, forgot the name.

My bottom line, if you guys are close enough, go see Joe. Everything I got from him was good. I liked some better than others but it was all good. Not a single piece that I regretted buying.

Damn, I wish I hadn't seen this.

My father-in-law died 2 summers ago - him and I used to drive to Eagleville and spend $2K on fireworks every summer.

I only spent $300 last summer, trying to resist the itch...

Appreciate the comments duane, the mortar you're talking about is Supernova and it's exclusive to the company I buy from.I actually ordered 20 cases this season,it's by far the best c-class mortar I've ever seen.

As I tell all cper's make the extra drive and I'll make it worth your while plus if you come on a slower day/night we can have a cold one or two.

ALL RIGHT! A Pryro thread.
We usually go down to Wayland Mo Every June to a place called Heartland to get our stuff for the 4th. They treat us pretty good and have all the videos to watch before purchase.
One of the things I love about fireworks is the goofy graphics on the cakes etc...
The Chinese just get the Americana shit all mixed up and it makes for some funny things.

I will check out your facebook page. Looks like great stuff!

I like "The Gunslinger" but I thought "Trendy Tattoo" was kind of slow and boring. If it was sped up more it would be better.

Seeing the fireworks on video doesn't display justice IMO.
