Broncos To Add Chiefs Special Teams Coach Mike Priefer?

The Broncos are expected to make Mike Priefer their special-teams coach if the sides hit no unexpected snags. He has been the Chiefs' special-teams coach since 2006. Priefer has a year left on his contract in Kansas City, but the Broncos are expected to give him the title of special-teams coordinator, so the move would be a promotion and, thus, one Priefer would be able to make.

Wait... the Broncos have to realize he coached for the Chiefs, and they played twice and saw how awful the special teams were... I don't get it, but hey Mikey, have a safe drive across I-70 West!

The Bronco's special teams were just as bad as ours so I wonder why they picked Mike up? Not like the CHiefs ST are anything special.

So...what they're saying is...IF...

The Bonkos instead give him the same title of special-teams coach, it would not be a promotion and, thus, one Priefer would not be able to handle very well at all.

Actually, I think this is where Gun is at his best and makes a team better. The Titan LBs flourished with him as LB coach. He just isn't DC or HC material.
