I'm with you. Even if you make him as a receiver. If we take a ****ing guard instead of JM and hes there at our #1 pick I may have to call it quits.

The 4th is a little sensational, but would you spend a first on him? I wouldn't. He doesn't seem like an NFL passer to me, and he doesn't seem like he has the size to stay healthy.
Griffin had a better chance to succeed and was probably better in all phases than Manziel, and even apart from his injuries it's definitely questionable whether he can play the QB position at the NFL level. I'm not going to bet my job, as a GM, and the next 3-4 years of my franchise on him with a first round pick. If you start talking about a pick in another round maybe it's worth a gamble, but... |

You know who I'd rather have? Aaron Murray.

i agree. Watching QBs against mizzou, both Murray and shaw looked better than Manziel.

If you think Manziel should go 1.1 that's fine, but it has to be due to intangibles, as he doesn't have a single skill that is projectable to being a top 15 NFL QB. He's not particularly fast, big, he doesn't have a strong arm, and he isn't amazingly accurate. He's almost all intangibles.
