What's the saddest thing about Chiefs fans?
For me, it's that our "I remember that day like it was yesterday" moment was in 1993 for just winning a damn playoff game.

I think that's the saddest shit in NFL history.

I became a Chiefs fan in earnest in 1990. That was about the right time to get onboard. Nothing but winning, nothing but playoff appearances, Montana and Allen, Derrick, that defense, the noise.....

The two Gunther years were just blah, Vermeil brought back the excitemnet, but not exactly the same energy, and Herm and Haley have been the dark years, my own late 70's, early to mid 80's experience.

I have had enough being average. I want that feeling of the Marty years back, only with the feeling that we really can win it all, not just get there. We are literally a QB away from being just that.
