Kobe Bryant has never been clutch. Ever.

Kobe has 5 finals games in his career with less than 20 points. (Injured in one of them) He's played 36 Finals games.

LeBron has 7 games with less than 20 points . He has played 20 Finals games.

Such a superstar

For 3 of his titles, Kobe had Shaq, who is probably a top 10 player in the history of the NBA. It's tough to say he was the best player on that team.

The others, like some have already said, had Pau who was pretty essential.

I'm looking at the Jazz, who were Stockton, Malone and a bunch of limited role players.

Some seem to have forgotten that Miami still has home advantage here. They got it back on Thursday and gave a predictably poor effort to follow it up tonight when they didn't absolutely need a win any longer.

In their minds, this series is likely right where they want it. In reality, it may not be (as the Spurs are an excellent team who could pull a road upset off), but they are going to have the advantage in the next two games. This is something Miami is quite capable of doing.

Get off Dirk's nuts. Where was he in 2006 when his Mavericks who were clearly a more talented team than the Heat blew a 2-0 lead? Jason Terry was the leading scorer on Dallas most of those games. Dirk was anything but clutch. Like Lebron or hate him, he is far and away a better player than Dirk could ever hope to be.

you mean when 91% hasn't missed a free throw in the postseason Dirk went to the line for 2 to tie it up and go to OT and he bricks the 2nd one and then Miami rattles off 4 straight to win the title?

yeah

clutch

or the time he accepted his MVP after being eliminated by the 8th seed in the playoffs?

yep

If you lived in DFW, you would come across a lot more people who are the same way about Dirk. It's weird.
