The article says Spikes and Thurmond are good fits for the Chiefs. |

I'd jizz if we scooped up Thurmond.

Yeah, we got decent play from Jordan on a one year minimum contract. So because we got one year of solid play out of a minimal contract, we should go cheap on the position every year? Bull. The Chiefs could use someone next to DJ who has a diverse skillset. If they can get that player, and have to pay for it, it would improve the defense 10 fold.

I'd prefer a 3 down guy to a Spikes or Jackson. I wouldn't complain if we picked up either at a bargain, but I'd rather have a guy we could keep on the field all game and push Berry back into the secondary.

He may have been for the Patriots, I'm not sure. He's a thumper, though. His size and speed aren't really conducive to being successful on passing downs...
That's why I'm saying we need someone else. Preferably someone younger and more athletic. |

I think Lamarr Houston is the DL we need.
I'd love Thurmond. I wouldn't love Spikes. Desmond Bishop should just retire.

Could be. I don't think he'll get crazy money. Likely will command about a 4 year, 30 million dollar deal.
