Day 2 of Low Carb.....I'm damn sure I didn't go over 20 carbs. The good thing is that I really haven't been hungry....at all. So....a couple of questions for everyone who's doing it.
1. When you count carbs.....are you counting total carbs or total carbs minus the fiber (like in Atkins)? Just wondering... 2. I haven't hit a fog yet or anything like that....but what I have hit is the ****ing bathroom. In the last two days....I think I've shit like 5 times. That normal? And lastly....anyone can offer advice on this one. I've been thinking....and I think I'm going to roll with the low carb...plus intermittent fasting. Say for instance I stop eating at 7PM. I normally don't eat lunch till around 12-1 PM anyways....and I'm not a huge fan of breakfast (and I don't have the time honestly). So that would give me a 17-18 hour fast each day. Does anyone see any problems? |

2. You may not hit a fog. Then again you probably will. When I did, it wasn't as bad as most people's. To me it felt like I was perma-stoned for like 24 hours. As far as the bathroom, your body is adjusting. Soon you will notice you aren't going to the bathroom as often. Make sure you drink at least 2L of water (4L is preferable) a day, and eat at least one serving of green veggies a day to stay regular. As far as Intermittent Fasting goes, it's a widely controversial topic. I say go for it and see how you like it. |

Also, since my first goal has passed (Sept 23 wedding where I was a groomsman), my new goal is to bang a hottie from the gym. Pretty shallow, but screw it, I want them, and the goal is to make them want me.

So far haven't been doing bad on the low carb/intermittent fasting change. I stop eating at 8-9 PM.....and I don't eat lunch until 1 PM the next day. 15-16 hours of fasting every day and I'm keeping my carbs under 25 during my eating window. So far in close to two weeks....I'm down 10 lbs. And that's with NO exercising....because I can't get my fat ass to have any motivation to work out. Starting to piss myself off.

You should probably stay under 20g of net carbs per day.
I found out that when there are major hotties at the gym, I actually want to go there. Gonna hit up the gym today for some active recovery. |

When did I say 25? I may have said that to Flop, but he's a lot bigger. No more than 5% of your calories should come from carbs. If your daily caloric intake is 2000 calories, then 25g is fine, but I doubt if you're eating that much. 20g = 5% at 1600 calories.

The problem with us fatties is that we're brainwashed to think being fat is OK because most people don't have the balls to tell their fat friends that they are concerned for their health.
Being fat isn't OK and you're not a good role model if you're fat. In other news, the last month I was just maintaining because I did a tux fitting 1 month before the wedding. This morning I weighed in at 212.6. I decided to go full hardcore again like I did in the beginning. Breakfast and dinner only from now on and 1500 calories or less. On Sunday I was 218.0. Hope to break 200 by end of the month. |

IF and Low Carb are the shit right now. 18 hour fast each day with a 6 hour eating window. Down 11.5 lbs in 2 weeks. One week of that was trying to do the whole count calories thing. Seriously though....how many servings of greens or vegetables am I supposed to eat a day? The last two days I've had almost 3 servings a day.....and I'm still in the bathroom 3-4 times a day. |
