Time to not get dominated.



James Shields, RHP
0-1, 2.70 ERA
Shields went seven innings and 102 pitches against the White Sox on Sunday and felt strong enough to continue. He gave up just one run and five hits with no walks (two hit batters) but took the loss.


Ricky Nolasco, RHP
0-1, 9.00 ERA
Nolasco struggled in his second start of the year, giving up five runs on seven hits and four walks over just four innings. He'll look to fare better in just his second career start at Target Field, and his first with the Twins.

But guys, calm down and take a breath, the beauty of baseball is that no matter how bad your team plays one day (or two) there's always the very next day.

And like I said earlier, both AL wild card teams last year both started the season 5-9, I bet Indians and Rays fans were acting exactly the same.

Yes that's true pitchers have the advantage early but come on, man. It's like that for every team. I just keep thinking of all the slow starts the royals have had and last year it legitamately cost us the playoffs.

Agreed with slow starts. We seem more consistent at that than other teams. Not sure why?
