Spinoff II: Who deserves the HOF more... T. Green or D. Bledsoe?

Again... We all know that neither will likely get there. Saying so doesn't make you look any smarter than telling us all that water is wet.

The question is, who deserves it more....

I don't think either will make it, and ... oh.

Can you post their stats? I don't know Bledsoe's stats.

Bledsoe has 43,000 yards. Obviously he's the logical choice.

You never know. If Drew wins a couple of SBs with TO he could get in.

Bledsoe has the longevity, entering his 14th year... missed nearly all of 1 in 2001, also when he got his ring watching Brady take his job.

Bledsoe has 8 seasons over 3,500 yards ... career totals for yards and TDs are nice. He was pretty good for a sustained period of time as well in NE.

Currently, his all time rankings are pretty good:
Among the league's all-time top 50

Pass attempts:5th
Completions:5th
Passing yards:7th
Passing TDs:13th tied

If he could win a ring in Dallas and play for another 2 years... he might have a strong case.

That had to be rough for Bledsoe to watch Brady take his job, and a Superbowl along the way.

It begs the question if the Patriots could have won it with Bledsoe that year...

43,447 yards...

I love Green, but Bledsoe is the obvious choice between the two based just on this number.

Green is one of 3 QB's in history to pass for 4,000 yards 3 years in a row.

It's a great question and one they'll likely never consider thinking about. Brady brought something when he entered the scene that year and he's been rocking with "it" ever since.

I don't think it's a knock on Bledsoe by any means, but the team did rally around Brady at that point. Bledsoe is in a great situation right now with that offense in Dallas ... they could be lethal this year.

Don't forget that Brady got knocked out of the AFC Championship game and Bledsoe came in and threw a TD.

Manning did it for 6 years in a row. I don't know who the other QB is (Marino?)... but that's at least 2 of your 3 hitting that mark in the pass happy era of the NFL.

Oh and don't forget about Green's QB rating...

There you go - that seals it for Drew.
