***** Official Royals vs. Tigers Game 2 Thread*****

Here it is folks, my second attempt at harnassing my psychic ability.

KAN: Bannister (0-0, 0.00 ERA)
DET: Rogers (0-0, 0.00 ERA)

I say we knock the Gambler around a little today. Butler has three hits, including a double. Final score Royals 8 - Detroit 3.

We win this one and we're in the playoffs for sure.

so let me guess we are going to start off decent, the start our annual 20 game slide, followed up by a 4-6 record, then drop another 20 straight?

The Royals will still be the Royals...

I really like Bannister. It just shows how *&#@ed up the Mets are, shell out big bucks for Pedro and Johan and trade off easy money like Bannister.

I have a question maybe somebody could answer for me.

Is Fox MW the same as FoxKC? If not, did they just create another station for KC?

The reason I ask is I have the Fox sports package through Dish, but they don't list a FoxKC, but a MW (midwest). I called them about it, and they (as usual) didn't know, but would follow up with an "official" request for me.

Fox Midwest is essentially Fox St. Louis.

So you don't really even follow the team, but felt it was necessary to come in this thread and take a dump on the carpet?

When it comes to the Royals, I hate living in Des Moines.

No TV unless I possibly want to subscribe to a satellite service.

My radio affiliate is a local Catholic station . Today, rather than broadcast the game, they have opted to air a stupid little family-oriented christian talk show where today's topic is dealing with a newborn baby, with a couple pediatric nurses available to field questions from concerned stay-at-home moms.

bannister's 2007 was good return for burgos even if he keels over of a heart attack today. that being said, i think he may regress some this year. a lot of people say hes a fly ball pitcher and really got some breaks last year to finish with the numbers he had.

i dont think he stinks, far from it. there have been a lot of guys who didnt have much stuff who pitched by using control and outsmarting hitters. but i think he might fall back a little.

that being said i like banny, he seems like a great guy in interviews and stuff. go royals, get us one today.
