But they are naturally rooting for the underdog, and as such, are more predisposed to make such commentary. I do the same in most sports. Everyone does.

The guy that kept the play alive was Withey, who had fouled out.

Withey wouldn't have been "fouled out" if several of the "fouls" on him were called correctly before that (including the clear block on Niang was called a charge). Been over this repeatedly and it should be fairly obvious to anybody who watched the game.

And the ensuing foul called on the ground (that wasn't a foul) was called by the ref who just 2 seconds earlier had swallowed his whistle on the charge.

I agree. It wasn't a foul there at the end and shouldn't have been called as such. None of this means KU wasn't the better team and didn't deserve to win, though. A game is more than the outcome of a single call at the end.

Whatever, I'm done now. KU won and you have to be excited that Elijah is back from the dead. Scary team if you get he and McLemore going together.

Looking better than they did two weeks ago certainly. Maybe the narrative will be that the losing streak helped them.

Well, when the refs make those type of calls they should be held to the fire. I don't feel bad for the incompetent refs at all.
