I'm just curious as to why everyone is so convinced Andy Reid likes Tyler Bray when we didn't spend a late, meaningless draft pick on him...instead we rolled the dice that NO ONE would draft him and then we'd be the team he picked as a UDFA.

I guess if he shows promise they'd keep him over Stanzi...

My guess is IR.

I've been wrong plenty of times. I am just not buying into the Bray hype whatsoever. Maybe he'll be the next Brian Hoyer and if that's the case nice find.

I'm not buying into the hype either. But it's the 3rd quarterback spot. It's just him vs. Stanzi and Stanzi is worse than him in most aspects. One of them has to be on the roster, so I'm guessing the most talented of the two stays.

He might of had some indication that they would get him and instead could roll the dice on some draftees. IDK just a thought. I would've thought he would of taken him over the FB from Kansas St. or the OLB in round 7.

Some fans are just desperate in wanting to "build" their star rookie QB. Because... they feel that this is the "right" and "only way" to go about being successful.

Yes beacuse the endless string of broke dick back up QBs KC has been trotting out for the past 20 years is just the biggest recipe for sucess. Hence the high number of Lombardi trophies a 1 Arrowhead Drive...oh wait...

Neither has any other starting QB (at least by KC) for the Chiefs in the past 20 years with a brief execption for a 0 - 10 run by Croyle.

Most of us on this board that are excited about Bray say the same thing;
- million dollar arm with 5 cent head
- if he can make the roster let him sit and learn
- give him 2 - 3 years and he might, key word might, be great
- Bray will either be a great starter or total flame out in the pro game, no in between with this kid

I really think people are overrating Bray's velocity/arm strength. It's above average but it isn't Elway/Kaepernick/Favre.
